As a UXD, I think digital experiences are sexy and cool when they work—not for our portfolios and trophy cases but for end-users. I measure my professional successes by whether I make users’ lives easier and whether my work increases my clients’ bottom line.
My approach is pretty straightforward: get the facts then fix the problem. Who is your company and what do you want? Who are your users and what do they need? A minimalist, I design what is essential and leave out the rest. It's that simple. Except it's not—not everyone's cut out for this work.
I'm collaborative, communicative, efficient, and a straight shooter. My strong suits are UX strategy, research, design and testing. I have a proven track record of taking projects from conception to launch and am equally amazing at just-get-it-done emergencies. UI and UX are not the same and I’m interesting in partnering with teams and clients who understand the distinction.
