As a UXD, I think digital experiences are cool and sexy when they work—not for our portfolios and trophy cases but for end-users. I want to look back on a project and know that I made someone's life a little easier and added Benjamins to my client's bottom line. That said, you'll never find me unnecessarily reinventing the wheel and I will never create a flashy experience for the sake of being flashy.
My approach is pretty straightforward: get the facts then fix the problem. Who is your company and what do you want? Who are your users and what do they need? Include what is essential and leave out the rest. It's that simple. Except it's not. Not everyone's cut out for this work, but I am.
I'm collaborative, communicative, efficient, process-oriented and a straight shooter—there's no time to be baroque. My strong suits are UX strategy, research, design and testing. I have a proven track record of taking projects from inception to launch and am equally amazing at putting out fires.
